Photinia x Fraseri ‘Carre Rouge’ is a colourful evergreen shrub. Its glossy ovate leaves change colours throughout the seasons. New growth emerges bright red in Spring, maturing to dark green. The leaves often appear multi-toned and provide plenty of interest. Compact and dense in habit, this hardy variety is a smaller cultivar, providing year-round colour and texture. Panicles of pretty white flowers are present in Spring, attracting bees and butterflies. This versatile plant performs well in a border or can be grown into hedging.
