Sanguisorba Officinalis ‘Tanna’, commonly known as Great Burnet, is a stunning perennial providing colour, texture and movement. Its foliage is compact and clump forming, growing into neat mounds. Each blue-green leaf is divided into oblong leaflets. In summer red cylindrical flowerheads appear, standing on thin stems above the foliage and swaying in the breeze. A recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit for its outstanding properties, the ‘Tanna’ looks fantastic when planted alongside other textured perennials in a bed, border or container.
