Prunus Laurocerasus ‘Rotundifolia’ is a fantastic evergreen shrub. The Cherry Laurel is dense, bushy and upright in habit, making an excellent choice for hedging or for planting towards the back of a border. Its foliage is comprised of dark green, glossy oblong leaves which are effective at reducing noise and pollution. Spring brings spikes of small, white, beautifully scented flowers which are followed by cherry-like red fruit. The fragrant blooms attract beneficial pollinators and the fruits provide food for birds.
