Lamium Maculatum ‘Beacon Silver’ is a beautiful perennial which superficially resembles the stinging nettle, although it has no stinging ability. Mat-forming and spreading in habit, its heart shaped silver leaves are edged green. Pink flowers arrive in Summer, adding a pop of colour and attracting beneficial pollinators such as bees. This shade loving plant looks stunning when used as underplanting beneath trees, shrubs or other perennials in a bed or border.
