Fagus Sylvatica is a large, deciduous tree. Known for its beautiful foliage and broad, spreading crown, the Fagus Sylvatica is fast growing and provides shelter for local wildlife. This tree can even be pruned into a hedge or privacy screen and can be grown to almost any required height. Broadly elliptic leaves which are almost fluttery in appearance are bright green in Spring, changing to a darker red / brown in Autumn. The small green Spring flowers and followed by brown Autumnal fruits.
