Cotoneaster Horizontalis is a slow growing deciduous variety of Cotoneaster. Unlike some other varieties, the Horizontalis’ glossy green leaves turn red and orange in the Autumn before falling in Winter. Birds are attracted to the bright red berries, which are visible amongst the colourful Autumnal leaves. Cotoneaster Horizontalis is known for its flat stiff branched sprays which are shown in a herringbone pattern. Spring brings an abundance of white flowers which are tinged pink, encouraging bees and other pollinators into your garden. Grow in beds or borders as ground cover or prune into a hedge or screen.
