Cornus Alba ‘Aurea’ is a deciduous shrub famed for its bright red stems. Golden green leaves adorn the Tatarian Dogwood in Spring and Summer. The bright foliage turns into Autumnal shades of orange and red before falling to reveal the bright red stems, providing Winter interest. Small cream flowers appear in clusters in Spring and Summer, followed by white fruits in Autumn. A fantastic plant for attracting pollinators; bees and birds will be encouraged by the blooms and berries. This fast-growing variety is a recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit and performs well when planted on mass. Alternatively, the ‘Argento-Marginata’ can be pruned into a hedge, shrub border or small tree. Plant in full sun to achieve the brightest colours.
