Lavandula Angustifolia ‘Rosea’ is a stunning, small variety of English Lavender. Beloved for its beautiful scent, pretty flower spikes and year round interest, this hardy shrub is a fantastic addition to a perennial or herbaceous border. Alternatively try planting on mass to line pathways, in containers or as a dwarf, informal hedge. Its compact, evergreen foliage is comprised of narrow silvery green leaves which are smothered in flowers in Summer. Unlike other varieties of Lavender, the ‘Rosea’ showcases rose-pink (rather than purple) tubular flowers. The blooms emit a sweet scent, making it extremely attractive to bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. Cuttings are often found in fresh flower arrangements or dried to make potpourris.
