Nandina Domestica ‘Gulf Stream’ is a colourful, compact evergreen shrub. This hardy and tough plant is upright and bamboo-like in habit. Its stunning foliage provides an eye-catching display with new growth emerging bronze-orange, changing to green in the Summer before darkening to fiery red and gold again in Autumn and Winter. Bees and other pollinators will be attracted to the panicles of small white flowers which appear in Summer, followed by bright red berries. The Heavenly Bamboo looks fantastic when planted as a focal point in a border or large patio container and can even be grown into an informal hedge.
