Lavandula x Intermedia ‘Phenomenal’ is one of the earliest blooming varieties of Lavander. Beloved for its beautiful scent, pretty flower spikes and year round interest, this hardy shrub is a fantastic addition to a perennial or herbaceous border. Alternatively try planting on mass to line pathways or in a container. Its evergreen foliage is comprised of upright, narrow silvery green leaves which grow into a bushy, rounded habit. Small, violet blue tubular flowers arrive in Spring and last into Summer. The blooms emit a sweet scent, making it extremely attractive to bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. Cuttings are often found in fresh flower arrangements or dried to make potpourris.
