Echinacea Purpurea ‘Magnus’ is a pretty, upright perennial, with green foliage comprised of lance shaped leaves. Beautiful flowers arrive in Summer, lasting through to Autumn. The blooms feature a central orange pompom, which is surrounded by bright pinkish purple petals. Unlike some other varieties of Coneflower, the ‘Magnus’ holds horizontal (not drooping) petals. A fantastic plant for attracting pollinators, bees and butterflies will be enticed into your garden. Spent blooms will form seedheads which provide food for small birds. Plant in a border, bed or container alongside other perennials. The Coneflower also makes a stunning cut flower.
