Achillea Millefolium ‘Red Velvet’ is an easy to grow herbaceous perennial, which does best in full sun. This Yarrow forms low mounds of fragrant ferny foliage, with clusters of bright red flowers appearing on upright stems in early Summer. Good for cutting and drying. Once the flowers begin to fade, deadhead to promote new growth and prolong flowering. The Achillea Millefolium ‘Red Velvet’ is inclined to spread, so choose your planting position and if necessary divide in Autumn or early Spring. Trim back to 4 inches after flowering is finished to maintain a compact habit.
